They say in the 41st millennium, there's only war to be found. But no one mentioned turning hordes of Tyranids and Heretics into confetti being oddly therapeutic. I've come to understand why Space Marines wear helmets. It's to hide the smile while purging the galaxies... Glorious.

Also if you're stuck in the opening cinematic try pressing escape to pause the cutscene and choosing to skip that is how I was able to temporarily bypass the crashes my brothers! Glory for the Emperor!

At the time of writing, I have just finished playing my first play-through of Omori and I have a torrent of conflicting emotions jumbling in my head. The many eerily similar parallels I can draw to my own life and childhood to this game is surprising. I guess because of this aspect my perspective of this game may be a bit bias. My only sorrow and minor regrets are the fact that I am unable to relive this wonderful and exciting experience again. Such is the tragic fate for all who goes through a good book, movie, or video game.

Much like Undertale or Lisa the Painful there was something absolutely enchanting about the journey I had undertaken here. Very few games have risen to my personal favorites and much like the other reviewers a lot of us thought that there was something special about this work of art. I desperately in the back of my mind wanted for this game to keep continuing as I felt I reached the end, but I knew like most things that are treasured or considered beautiful it does not last forever there has to be an ending a conclusion.

I have been following this game on and off for a few years prior to its release I am glad I got the opportunity to see and play the finished product. I recorded my entire play-through of this game purely so that I could go back and relive the journey in some way. I never took many photos or videos of when I was a kid so many memories are eventually bound to disappear as time goes by, so very much like one of the characters in this game I decided to document the moments. I am glad I decided to play this game.

Well, what are you waiting for?

For something to happen?

Go play the game and experience it for yourself or don't its entirely up to you.

Most typical games I've ever played generally had an objective or a set rules within it's parameters that I could identify or have an inkling as to what is to be expected. Whether it be reach from one objective to another, slay object A or B, save this or complete this quest to proceed. Despite my curious nature to always guess or assume what direction a game will take I was glad I was unable to even fathom what this piece of art provided me. This game while simplistic in nature had a powerful underlying message/tone about one's perspective and loneliness. I've been reminded in this adventure to never jump to conclusions as misunderstandings are the root of conflict.

Very few games left me so conflicted and alone yet satisfied. I hunger for more.
