As a new player, I never saw the old UI so I can't comment. However loading into and out of games locks up my PC for 30+ seconds (i7 4790k, 16GB RAM, nVidia GT780 4GB) , with loading times worse than my crappy phone's version. Please fix, cause I love the game, but it's a poorly optimised PC port.
