If you're looking for a casual sci-fi shooter than I would definitely recommend this game. Though the development of this game was kind of rocky, and even currently after release it still seems like BETA (in which I signed up ages ago) I would still give this a positive review because it's FREE!. You really don't have to put any money into this game, though there are 3 sets of currency. Real Money Currency = Red Bean, Credits = Marketplace Currency, Crystite = Game Currency. Generally what people will do is exchange the crystite for credits and purchase any unlocks they desire, which may take little to no effort depending on how much you play, or selling RNG loot drops.

The end game in itself is a little slow, but they keep pushing out the content and I personally just play it periodically when new content is released. (again seems like it's still seems like it's in a BETA limbo). Though generally if you liked playing Tribes, and liked the movie Starship Troopers then it's kind of a weird mix with a decent storyline which.... apparently still hasn't completed yet. I will admit that there really does need to be better various PvP aspects to the game to increase competition and draw more users if the RPG element kind of comes to a standstill. (They do however throw a lot of events which is nice).

I still expect great things from red5studios and will continue to play this game casually as it is most definitly a fun game to play.

I would also note that the game is not structured in terms of pay2win, however they do offer some real money unlockables which are mostly vanity items such as skins, accessories, faster spec vehicles. (none of which are required to enjoy the game).

Great Game with lots of challenges. You can pretty much play the s@#t out of this game until your head explodes. Getting used to the combo system takes a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it then you're always trying to maximize your combos with finishers. With the Steam In-Home Streaming and my X-Box Wireless Controller I managed to stream this game from my Gaming PC (in my room) to my Laptop which was then connected to the Projector in the living room. Controller, Video, Audio all streamed to the laptop and played seamlessly and this is why I love PC gaming. It's just like a supercharged console. With AMD eyeFinity or nVidia Surround Gaming on 3 monitors or more.. it's far superior. :)
