Valve's default gun sounds are loud and clunky, and sound fatigue is a real thing. Enhanced Weapon Sounds aims to alleviate that. By using sounds sourced from Gamebanana, L4D2's gun sounds are now more pleasing to the ear whilst keeping a certain 'style'.
