First of all, do NOT judge the game solely based on the demo. A lot has been improved since then. Don't get too attached to your demo MASS because it can't transfer over just because of all the changes they've made.

Okay, with that out of the way, this game is really fun. You can build your MASS and weapons with absolutely dizzying attention to detail and go kill some monsters. The monster variety is good and poses a challenge when you fight them all at the same time. The only thing I can really complain about is the monsters have a just little bit too much health to really get the feel of being in a mech suit destroying everything in your path, but of course you don't want them to be pushovers as well. On that note, the bosses have WAAAAY too much health. This coupled with a difficulty spike about halfway through the game (in it's current state) and the boss fights can start becoming frustrating and you just want them to end. One boss in particular has a shield that regenerates often due to its attack pattern and the fight is very drawn out and frustrating, but keep in mind this is in Early Access.

All that being said, the game is very fun. The anime waifus can be a bit over the top but otherwise the art is great. I'd recommend picking it up, especially when the multiplayer comes out. I know Co-op is planned but this game is absolutely begging for a PvP arena mode and I hope it's added. This is the mech game we have been waiting for.

This game is amazing. Every time you think that you've seen it all, the game throws something new at you. The unlocks feel very rewarding, and you get them often enough that you never feel the game is getting old. The mechanics are very tight, yet a little different from the norm, so it might take you a few runs before you get the hang of it. This game is also very hard, but it never feels impossible. Each defeat gets you closer to the next unlock and you think "just one more run..." Plus the game is only like $3 so what on Earth are you waiting for? Play this game!!
