Absolutely loved this game. I've never been one to write reviews, but I've enjoyed so few games like I've enjoyed Hollow Knight. The music and visual aspects meshed so well and completely pulled me in. The level design is gorgeous throughout the entire game.

The character control is really well polished. I was frustrated in my first playthrough during some of the fighting/parcours areas- chained hits into spikes were a problem. But eventually you learn enemy patterns and how to time your characters movements, which will lead to a very enjoyable experience as you traverse the map.

The one wish I have for games of this genre is to allow the player to create custom map markers. There's a bit of backtracking to gain access areas previously inaccessible. The ability to create your own markers would be great.

I'm sad I've completed it and I hope there is a sequel in the making.
