The game is sooo unstable in multiplayer, expect desyncing, mods not working in multiplayer. I can't fathom how bad this game is in its current state, and how much time has passed.

Can say off the bat that it is lacking, but certainly has a lot of potential, so buy this game later, when PDX has decided to actually use the potential.

I have not played Victoria 2 or 1 and neither the WW1 offspring game. So I can only compare this to the other games that PDX has made and first thing I felt was Imperator Rome.

The only issue with Imperator Rome was that the game had a lot of mechanics but they weren't really properly weaved into the game itself, so I could pretty much conquer and build whenever wherever without anything happening.

Victoria 3 does not fault on the same issues. It has mechanics that can make you bite the sand. But quite honestly, only issue you can face in this game is that nothing happens, like you can do use the mechanics to make your country great and then just start beating up everyone. Only mechanics that matter is money so you can keep the taxes low for no uprising, and when it happens you just call up your armies and beat them up. And the AI, will just not do basically anything the whole game, except sometimes go to state conquests and lose to rebels. But no big conflicts, nothing politically administrative, just nothing.
The game is just as lacking as I make it sound.

But I bought the grand edition with reason, so PDX. Make Vicky 3 grandious.
