Review edit: Nearly 100 hrs of Coh3.

There are good things about Coh3. It is, itself, a reasonably good game. The expectations set by the previous two titles are what drag this game down. Individual players may prefer certain aspects of Coh3 over coh1 or 2, but this game is not as inspired, innovative, or containing the same level of quality and craftsman ship as its predecessors. The Relic team continues to work hard on the title, but they are a less talented and capable crew than they used to be. Their leadership, or at least up until Relic split from their parent company, is of such low quality and character that they'd prefer to drag another one of their major franchises in exchange for short term profits.

Overall, I continue to feel like Coh3 is a generally fun time, but a better time can be had in either coh1 or 2 for less money; nor is coh3 a particularly good successor in the franchise.

I feel like the only thing that can really save this game is an expansion that adds the Japanese, which has been a fan request from the franchise for many years, but even that would likely be executed with mediocrity like every other aspect of this title.

I'm a huge fan of the Coh franchise and I'm just bummed about the state of coh3. The game is poorly balanced, riddled with bugs, lacking key features, and then relic introduced an in-game store instead of fixing anything substantial.

In its current state, the game is far from fun, and I do not have confidence in the Relic team to improve this game and turn around the experience.
