Not the game it was Hyped up to be, and definitely in my opinion is a downgrade to Magicka one. Too bad im not allowed to refund the game cause i would in a heartbeat. The game feels like an Iphone app now. It feels like an arcade game. Its not immersive at all compared to Magicka 1, which actually made you feel like your in this wizard world and you where conjuring elements to create your own badass spells. There are LESS functions compared to Magicka 1, Less spell combinations, less spell effects for yours Sword, AOE, etc. Less animations for spells. For example, when you place a shield in Magicka 1 it was a glorious Curved dome shield that felt powerful and reflected beams and absorbed damage well. In Magicka 2 however, the shield you place is a completely flat rectangular yellow wall that pops into existence and feels like youre using a pizza box to protect yourself. Theres absolutely no immersion. The only pro this game has is the graphics are nice. But thats it. The gameplay is ♥♥♥♥. Im probably going to keep playing Magicka 1 as its atleast 10x better than this "sequel".
