The random events that you cannot turn off really kill this one. I got 3 off-ice incidents and two cliques in one season, but you can only do something about it once a month so you are stuck with most of these unless you start trading away players but of course they always involve my best and often most professional players... these are obviously random. My biggest complaint about this series is that it is not a hockey simulator but a hockey randomiser and this is just further proof. I know these features existed before but this season they are non-stop and it is not fun. Worst part is, if you read the forums and reddit etc this is a highly requested thing to be able to disable but they are ignoring this request.
How has the randomising been going in this iteration? Did it improve? Hell no. First season Chicago wins the presidents trophy and the cup against Washington in the final. The ridiculousness of this game continues to frustrate.
