For the short answer; yes get the game. You won't regret it!

Max Payne 3 is a visualy stunning game with incredible game mechanics (e.g. Jump shooting and slowing down time while aiming). Unfortunatly I didn't use these mechanics as much as I should have at times, but when I did I felt pretty BOSS. I mean you don't get more awesome then jumping sideways while slow motion shooting bad guys in the face!

Max Payne 3 is based in São Paulo, Brazil and does a good job of envolving real life areas into the game (e.g. the football stadium). Max Payne also makes seemingly dull areas light up with colour and wonderful textures. This game will pull you in by appealing to all you sences, especially sight & sound.

Unfortunatly Max Payne 3's missions are kind of straight forward and I feel as the levels force me to take only one path.
The A.I. in the missions are pretty good at moving around and thankfuly for me aren't "aim bots" and miss a high percentage of their shots.

The one major down side of Max Payne 3 is that the online multiplayer is basically dead and I didn't really get enough time to mess around in it.
