Somehow even better than the last; the music is intelligible and bangin', the movement is well utilized, and even Keemstar is here (because everybody knows that Keemstar is awesome and cool and not controversial totally).

Sick game; highly recommend!

Phenomenal game, and very revolutionary for the visual novel genre, I feel. The characters felt very alive and real, and you can latch onto any character here because of how well they are written (even the interdimensional space prince).

The ending were also a joy to go for, even if some of the took longer to get than others. The luck aspect of this game is probably the worst part about it (I'll get to why in a second) but it's completely fine for the endings.

As someone who ended up 100%ing the game, I can say that the luck is abysmal for the events and outcomes achievements in this game, as you need to get all of them to fully complete this game. To put it into perspective, each event has 4 outcomes. And considering the fact that certain endings are locked behind prerequisites and/or actual gacha, that makes the grind for them a lot more daunting. You can do it, if you have no life.

Other than that, everything else about this game is stellar. If you play this game, whether for completion or otherwise, I highly urge you to go for all the endings, and probably stop there. These endings give so much character to the love interests that you end up loving some of them more than ever. My favorites are Zoe's Identity ending and Polly's Locket ending; those are easily some of my favorite moments in video games ever, especially the latter ending.

Highly recommend!

Immaculate vibes with a pretty book-like take on your typical visual novel. The characters feel very natural to me, even the little slime girl. It's funny, but it also has some narrative meat on its bones, which I'll always appreciate.

Highly recommend!

The aesthetics in this game--art, music, etc--were superb! Truly, one of the best I have seen in a game this year, possibly ever. And the story is immaculate once you put the pieces together on what's going on with the whole Desktop Explorer program. The only thing I'll say is that you REALLY need to pay attention to everything in this game as it plays like an escape room in terms of every single thing both important and needing to be checked. Otherwise, you will feel very lost, as I was a few times during this playthrough.

If you can do that, then I highly recommend this game!

PREAMBLE

If I had a nickel for every time I thoroughly enjoyed a new game that released on April 23, 2026, I would have two nickels. It's not a lot, but a joyful observation nonetheless. I can't really say much here since this game isn't fully done so expect edits as the episodes come along. No spoilers also. I respect the curiosity of the review lurkers here.

EPISODE 1 REVIEW:

This game starts off with a bang and keeps it going. Never clocked the 90s anime art style inspiration initially but knowing that makes the game better in my eyes, especially when you play the minigames before and during the trial. The only one I didn't like was the space invaders inspired one but I've that it's getting reworked into something more interesting, so that's cool and pretty neat that Jane Mango listened to the community in that way. The music is superb, especially the War of Words music. Sound design is equally as great. The art, as someone who isn't good at art, is pretty nice; as a writer, the art works narratively. Speaking of the narrative (again, no spoilers) and writing was pretty solid, only getting accentuated by the AMAZING voice actors. I remember genuinely feeling something when a character would yell or feel devastated. Even purely angry characters like Ishikame (Absolute Solider) feel like there's something behind it as opposed to "he's angry because he is". I didn't break down crying, but I felt myself almost tearing up, which--as someone as isn't as in tune with his emotions than others--is a BIG compliment.

This first episode feels like the team over at Mango Factory looked at what made Danganronpa good, what the games could have improved upon, and delivered on an excellent product that--as of right now--trumps any other game like it. It's like a fangame that got so big it became it's own thing, which is good; great, even.

Highly recommend if you have the time!

I played the demo when that came and remember really liking the content in it as well as the concept. I made my initial review, when it was still up, and I was very excited for the game to come out. And after a lot of hard work (and procrastination) I have finally completed this game. Besides the whole translation debacle that happened when this game came out, I think this game is one of the best games I have played this year--arguably even ever.

I'm not going to spoil for the people who haven't played it yet, but all I'm gonna say is that Yunyun and Qtie are easily the highlights of the game for me, especially in how their characters are written (generally, and after the translation fix), which helps make the plot twist towards the end of the main game actually feel deserved and interesting in my eyes. The whole story and the way this game tells that is honestly very good. Outside of the music, you get these other pieces that allows you (the player) to get a good grasp on both the story and the characters (again, I'm not gonna spoil anything). The humor is also superb.

The music here is also great. I like electronic music for a variety of reasons (and am a consumer of "cringe" media), so this game's music was a very good gateway into the world of denpa music I now find myself in. Even the background music feels do nice on the ears with how "experimental" it can get.

If you haven't already, do buy and play this game. It's a very nice introduction to rhythm games and denpa music while also having awesome characters and an interesting story to boot. Even going for 100% completion is very fun. Highly recommend!

Short game. Good game, but it's good. Very aesthetically pleasing.

The characters are cool, and the puzzles are mighty interesting. Vivziepop could never write demons this well.

It's a simple game. It's also an idle incremental game (which should be obvious), so there's not much to say gameplay wise. Although, I like the different variance of cards as well as how many facets to this game there are, especially with the card rarities and the expeditions. For an idle game, it's pretty decent.

Great game. I wish there was some more content, but it's a great game nonetheless.
