So I am a PC gamer that goes way back. Not all the way back to those hedonistic micro-computer days but I do have a few recollections from that era. My earliest memory of an arcade game that I loved would be Namco’s Galaga, a game I can still play today. The first game I ever owned was Sid Meier’s F-15 Strike Eagle and A.L.F (rubbish game) on the Tandy 1000. But my most impressionable game from that era would be Space Quest II from Sierra Online. Its rich story set in a contemporary sci-fi world had the childhood me hooked. Overall though my most played game series of all-time would be Sid Meier's Civilization as some turn-based strategy titles with their just-one-more-turn gameplay just sink me in. Otherwise I usually prefer story rich titles over gameplay mechanics.
