A lovely city builder with charming aesthetics and well-balanced resource economy, especially when you consider it's from a small team of developers. You can tell that this is the passion project of its creators, and in kind they have spent a lot of time getting the core game mechanics right. I especially love how the user is given great flexibility in planning their city layout, and the building design palette allows you to mix and match different buildings for a desired affect. All the while, people move into your city and bring everything to life. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the frame rates for a 1000+ pop city were just fine. The only minor complaint is that the UI is relatively underdeveloped, but I think that can be forgiven considering that this is in beta and the team is probably focused on other priorities.
