Two Point Campus is an intuitive management game where you build, maintain, handle and improve college in all thinkable and unthinkable aspects. You have to keep attractive campus environment, hire and train staff to improve their level of service for the students, prepare events and even expand. All that seems good and is really enjoyable for a while. Nevertheless by the time you build third campus the game is already very repetitive, everything is attainable very easily, profitability of your project is almost guaranteed and limited variety of actions/detailing you could do leaves you wandering what else is there to do.

Pros
Intuitive
Funny/Untraditional motives
Good design and animations

Cons
Repetivity
Lacks depth in detailing
Too simple/easy

RTS' Crown Jewel

After more than 20 years, still one of the best games I have ever played. RTS with a damn good story, interspersed with even better cutscenes. Westwood released one masterpiece after another up until C&C3KW, and I've yet to find a worthy successor to those games, but even after that (and if) I'll always enjoy a game or two of good ol' RA2.

Rating 18+ is not enough for this.

Many people would say pricing matches the quality, but in my opinion bad game is a bad game no matter the cost.

Developer probably had too big imagination at the beginning of the game, but quickly found out how tedious really development is if you want to maintain some level of quality. Overall quality of the game is very variable, some parts are made with precision (both visually and story-wise) while from most of the game you can feel the rush the developer was in to bring the product to the market.

Twists of my life is not worth spending your time on.

The Talos Principle 2 is not a mere puzzle-solving game, but an overwhelming futuristic experience with rich story and every detail brought to the perfection. This game tests not only your mental capabilities, but also your morality and empathy.

Phenomenal 10/10

Fresh Story would be considered average if not for a one thing that deviates it from the line of mediocrity, and it is having a female lead in the game. This one simple think complete changes point of view for the player and it is really refreshing in the genre.

For my money's worth I got way more than I expected. Story is remarkably good, execution not the best, but it gets better through the game and there is visible progress of the developer. This being said Fresh Story is indeed suitable for a recommendation to all interested players especially for this very low pricetag and I really look forward to playing a sequel.

You Can’t Have It All

Old World brings turnbased 4X game set only in the ancient ages, while also maintaining a scientific progress throughout the game (tech tree). You can spot great management requirements / balance of the game just by the way you are forced to try to do everything at once – support economy, prepare logistics, build army, fend off raiders and suppress rebels, maintain good relations inward (families, characters) and outward of your empire (another empires, independent nations), maintain religious relationships or convert characters and cities, keep cities happy, and the best thing about this game is that you are simply not able to do it all – orders limit is what it makes so fun, you have to choose what is the most important at the moment and think of the consequences.

Summary

Pros

Ancient Times – Even though the game is all set in the ancient times it is not missing the diversity and progress. Well-constructed.

Events – hundreds and hundreds of interesting (storylike) events influencing the game.

Orders limit - there is only so much you can do in one year (turn), you can’t have it all.

Production – different products require different inputs, city focusing only on one thing is very unproductive in other departments, this forces you to make cities somewhat general.

Characters – the game have different characters having a role in your empire, their skills and your (as a ruler) relationships with them influences your overall performance. Unruly families tend to rebel, generals with bad relationships can switch sides etc.

City Sites – new cities cannot be anywhere, this keeps the game balanced.

UnDo Button – you can undo your last action! Breakthrough in this genre.

Border expansion system – borders can be expanded by new buildings or hiring specialists working on the current borders, system makes sense, larger cities get larger territory. On the other hand there are some option to buy land, but you need either laws or technologies to do that.

Laws & Technology tree – two separate system influencing the game are very elaborate and gives depth to the game.

Cons

Difficulty – higher difficulties seems to be unplayable, AI does not have the same limits as player, or it seems that AI have unlimited resources.

Performance – the game is really hardware demanding, larger maps are unplayable even with high-end computer.

9.5 /10

This is a 4X game I have been waiting for. A Masterpiece among 4X turnbased games it has everything I ever dreamed about in this genre. Only downside is the difficulty no matter how hard I try on higher difficulty settings the AI seems to cheat.

Projekt: Passion offer everything much more than it seems on the first glance.

Funny and entertaining story
Unique universum
Detailed characters with intersting bakcstory
Good graphics

Only downside is the game’s straightforwardness regarding storyline and choices, but in this case I did not even mind. Less possibilities meant better developed outcomes and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Big thumb up for this Projekt.

The Future

I love how Detroit: Become Human not only tell a fascinating story about Androids‘ awakening, but also focuses on the tiny bits around. You are not only told a storyline of an individual, but also can see the big picture – the world changes, the environment details which reflects current situation (yet another cold war?) and possible development 20 years ahead. What will people do in that time, what will be their motivations and worries. The game is really a narrative masterpiece.

I have encountered only two downsides of this game. First one is camera angle(s) – players like me are used to either first person or third person view, but constant changing of camera angle and position can be really annoying and disrupt your experience. Another thing is the feeling that the biggest impact on output of my story were not the decisions made throughout the game but rather test of player’s reflections – if you were quick enough you mostly got where you wanted, if not you failed and took different path. Nevertheless Detroit: Become Human is one of the best narrative experiences you can encounter.

Summary

Pros

Immersive story
Phenomenal graphics
World details
Lots of decisions to make and paths to take

Cons

Camera works
High impact of “clicking skills”
