This is a fun Xonix/Qix style game with a lot of variations and boss fights. It's not too difficult, and the levels are short and quick. There are several unlockable characters with their own abilities that adds some variety to the game. There's an arcade mode as well as a campaign mode.

Note: As of the time of this review (March 2025), achievements are not working. I don't care about that so it does not affect my enjoyment of the game.

When I was a kid growing up in the US, there was a saying that if you dig a hole straight down it would go all the way to China. People in other countries have similar sayings, that you could dig a hole/tunnel to China/Japan/Australia/Brazil/etc.

This takes that concept and turns it into a game. Each game lasts about 30 seconds; at the beginning you are given a target country to dig your way to. There's a small arrow (and a flag on the Earth's surface) indicating where you're supposed to go. The larger the country, the most forgiving it is. For small countries, you have to hit the target exactly! When you reach the surface, it plays a little song, shows a picture representing the country and tells what the capital city is. There is a travel log that keeps track of where you've been and when you first arrived there. There are achievements based on reaching certain destinations or completing geographic regions.

Your character digs automatically -- there is only a "turn" button. You must manage your oxygen and food levels or else wind up dying and finding yourself in Heaven or Hell... While digging you can find food and oxygen, and there are also some power-ups that will make you dig faster or slower, turn backwards, or kill you. The nearer you get to the Earth's core, the slower you go and faster your life force depletes.

A fun, simple, quick game that anyone can play.

Nice platformer/metroidvania game made by a single developer. Controls with an Xbox controller felt really good, precision jumping and timing was not a problem. Thoughtful level design, good amount of backtracking but does not feel like a chore because the individual levels are not huge. There are new game elements introduced gradually as you progress through each area. Dashing, double-jumping, etc. Bosses are a bit tough but, in true old-school platformer style, once you figure out the attack/defend pattern, they can all be defeated. Throughout the game you can use different "flames" which effect your life and strength (and ability to warp). There is quite a bit of story, reading it all and playing to both endings took me about 4 hours or so. I unlocked 15 out of 25 achievements in the process of playing through it naturally, not achievement hunting.

Space Mouse is great. From a time when games were easy to learn but hard to master.

You can move left, right, and up -- but not down. As you're climbing up the level, the enemies are coming down at you. They fall through the holes in the floor and maintain their direction until they hit an obstruction, at which point they turn around. Despite the predictable nature of their movement, it is still very challenging.

In addition, you have a limited supply of air so you can't take too much time waiting out the enemies. There are several power-ups and lots of easter eggs to be found in the game.

Classic snake game reimagined with a bit of a learning curve and a lot of strategy. It's pretty tough but fun.

It's a fun little shoot 'em up with great music. The primary feature of this game is the lock-on missiles. Controls are simple as it's a mobile port. There is a traditional stage-based arcade mode as well as a caravan (score attack) mode. The game is pretty easy but it still fun. I don't have much playtime on Steam but I've played it a lot on Android.

I bought all of Terarin's games on Android and would be happy to see them all on Steam someday, too.

A simple fill-in-the-letters flashcard game where you must identify the animals shown in the photos and spell the animal's name correctly. It starts off rather easy and gets harder and harder as you go. Achievements are earned for each correct answer. If you're stuck, there are some cheats you can earn to help nudge you along in solving the puzzle.

The game is played in a vertical orientation, giving the impression that it is a port of a mobile phone game.

The player will learn new animals as well as brushing up on their spelling. The game can be played in multiple languages for added difficulty and educational value. Appropriate for players of all ages.

You fly a UFO and abduct animals and people using your tractor beam, avoiding humans trying to fight back (and birds), and occasionally fight bosses such as a pickup truck full of rednecks or some kind of giant werewolf monster.

It's not a bad game, really, it's just kind of repetitive and boring. It was fun for about 5 minutes.

I think this game is great. Freefalling/base jumping game. Leap off the top of a building and avoid going splat.

I find it is much more comfortable to play with the KB+mouse than with a controller.
