The game is fun on the first run through but suffers from many issues. The game gets really bland and there are missing features that is inexcusable for a game like this.

Terrible Matchmaking
Biggest gripe is that there is no quick-play or player host lists which makes matchmaking a nightmare. Essentially, you pick 1 of 12 missions and hope 2 others want to play that same mission as well. It doesn't help that after queuing for 40 seconds, the lobby locks and gives you bots instead of just having two separate options for matchmaking and playing with bots. Its frustrating and makes the player pool feel emptier than it actually is. It doesn't matter if they'll update the game but not including functional matchmaking to an online multiplayer is inexcusable.

Gameplay is bland:
It boils down to defending a room to moving to another room to defend. Occasionally, the last defense of a mission has you move to other side and pick up things but its lazy game design.Aliens seem cool at first glance, they'll crawl on wall and ceiling to close the gap and crawl out of vents and holes, but they are terribly simple once you figure them out. Aliens will run straight at you with no attempt to dodge or spread out to hit you from different angles. Simple enemy AI could have worked if they didn't just spawn from 3-4 fixed positions.

Game Difficulty:
Difficulty feels like an after thought. Devs thought it was a good idea to make the enemies spongier while giving you less ammo when it really should have just been 1 of these. It's not fun or rewarding to play above intense difficulty. Modifiers on the other hand are really good and do shake up the game a bit(no HUD, no sidearms, mission time limits etc).

Enemy Varieties:
This game features aliens that many are familiar with such as drones and warriors, but thats it. Lets start with the good to change things up: prowlers are great! They hide around corners between objectives and jump on you; it makes the game more engaging as you're not mindlessly running to the next objective. Thats about it for the good unfortunately, so whats so bad about the enemies? They're way too simplistic, drones will announce their presence and run straight at your team to jump on person, then run to the nearest hole to do the same thing later. This was almost good, but instead having them duck cover to cover to close gaps or target isolated team members, they gave it lots of HP. Warriors and Praetorian are just bullet sponges but they dont run away. Spitters and Exploding aliens have too much HP and chargers are Warriors but they charge you occasionally. I'm not even going to explain androids and pathogens aside from being bullet spongy or worst alien bugs.

Quick mentions of what the game did right:
+Perk customization
+Maps design(they look great)
+Environment variety
+Gun customization
+Feels like aliens
+Class variety

Other negatives:
-Buggy
-Certain perks don't work
-Peashooter Weapons
-Feels cheap at times(animations, lack of cut scene especially at the end)
-Terrible Bot AI
-Limited Armor Customization(aside form transactions)
-Sorta disappointing ending
-Lack of post game content
