A stirling effort from Almost Human Games here in their (in my view) near, if not flawless re-visitation of a classic genre; it pays well - earned homage to the pioneers of the genre - Eye of the Beholder, etc - as without their contributions to the multifarious world of gaming, we would never have seen such a remarkable title, namely the Legend of Grimrock, nominally reflecting its plot seamlessly.

In time, with further refinements, if even necessary, heeding the game industry's inexorable technological progression & evolution (possibly in the form of a sequel, alluded to by the game's dev's on the LoG website), I could easily expect their respectively held positions in gaming legend to invert, seeing LoG as one of the superlative titles of our generation, as its, in terms of genre, preceding titles were to theirs.
