I LOVE surreal games. I love the atmosphere of this game, the idea and the way you get transported into another world. I also LOVE puzzles. What I do not like are puzzles that you just have to guess correctly to solve. I want to use my brain, not chance. I'm not a fan of "solution by exhaustion" puzzles, where you can only solve them by trying different permutations.

Really enjoyed this game a lot. Though it is a simple concept, exploration is rewarded and I really enjoyed farming all the skills.

Unpopular opinion: I didn't really like the game. I know everyone is different, and I respect how many people really enjoyed the game it just wasn't for me. THESE THINGS MIGHT NOT BOTHER YOU and I don't want to dishearten anyone or convince anyone to purchase or not purchase the game.

I will note, deep love for Resident Evil 7 & 8 does NOT translate to loving this game.

I had two main issues with the game that you might (or might not) wish to consider when deciding whether or not to purchase the game:
1) Lacks replay-ability.
This makes half the game not so fun. Once you go through as one hero, you can play through as the other hero in the SAME EXACT LOCATIONS. Some of the pathing is slightly different, and you get to experience other guns, but I really wish there had been two different stories and experiences these heroes had. It just detracts from the story completely when OBVIOUSLY Claire wasn't with Leon inside and vice versa. I don't even see the purpose of having another hero, why not another playthrough? it was slightly misleading for me.
2) Ammo scarcity made the game just not fun.
It is HORRIBLE the lack of ammo you are given. There are areas where mobs can respawn infinitely. There are ways to stop this but not enough resources to stop them all. I found the lack of ammo annoying and detracting from the experience and ambiance of the game. I like being engrossed in games and being annoyed for over half the time really made this a chore at times to play. I will also note that I am a FPS gamer so I did NOT waste more than a handful of bullets the entire run through and still had a negative experience. I DID run from many enemies as is intended, I killed only those in locations with very narrow corridors I had to revisit and still had an issue. It made the game really not fun for me. You might like this, but I did not at all and it strongly deters me from trying other resident evil games that were created before RE7.

If you LOVE original Resident Evil games, don't mind the second story line being very unoriginal and don't mind having only enough bullets to kill 10% of mobs, then you may have a completely different experience than I did and I hope you have fun playing this game!

Great for a free game- was fun to play for a little bit of getting chased and a couple of jump scares :)

A great, short atmospheric horror game with puzzles. And it is free! What isn't there to love?

DO NOT OPEN THE CELL PHONE DURING A ACTION SCENE it will crash the game and you have to start over lol. If something is happening in the game you can watch then don't open the cell phone until it's done. It took me 3 crashes to figure this out lol. Besides this I really enjoyed the story. It was the right level of scare for me I love story-driven games. The story takes a bit of a jump at the end I had a hard time following or believing completely but I really enjoyed it otherwise!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I liked the puzzles especially. It was fun to learn to read all over again- that is a unique experience I will say. The storyline was great. I definiately reccommend the game to anyone who enjoys story-driven, atmospheric, puzzle games.

What an enjoyable game! Yes the dodging should have a cooldown/limited stack amount but the developers know this and are working on balance. Besided that it is amazingly fun! Completely different from DBD gameplay.

I really enjoyed this story. There are no puzzles or challenges. It's just storytelling at it's best. Worth it during the Steam Sale if you like story-driven games.
