Well, I live in Detriot so going to summer camp is not your average "summer camp". The idea here( especially in the ghetto where i live) is that summer camp is just making blanket forts in your Scout Master's house. You see, the joining the Boy Scouts was pretty expensive for my mother, so she signed me up for a co-ed scouting organization called " The Campers". Yes the name was super generic, and it wasn't very official, but I didn't really care, because it was coed!
We'd usually stay at Wajetta's house( a mother 0f 15 that lived down the street, god bless her soul), but most of the children came to a conclusion that she might have been a little, just a little crazy. The rumor was is that she killed her husband, and at one point in her life she was running an underground slave trade in Columbia. So, the smart thing to do was probably stay the hell away from her. And we typically did.
