This game is everything I wanted from 'Minecraft' but couldn't get. At the moment I'm engaged in the Castle building rather than the machine construction. I can see the potential for future pieces and blocks - and once the modding community gets going the buildings will be fabulous (rather than just great).
The placing of blocks can be a struggle sometimes and even with update .008 the lighting is a real pain. It's as if the devs are trying to be too clever by putting in day/night, sun position etc before fixing the awful shadow problems. The interior lighting still needs a lot of work.
However, it is still early access and apart from the lighting problems this game is well on the way to getting 5 stars and being my favourite.
