For the first time in 15 years, RPG Maker 2000 is now officially (and legally) available in English! I was surprised that it would have actually had a release outside of Japan. Anyways, the software itself is quite basic and similar to RPG Maker 2003, but has a similar battle system to the Dragon Quest games. The faces, tilesets, and battlers have different graphics compared to 2003. Is it worth it? Compared to VX Ace's price, sure. However, I have nothing negative to say about it.

Omg this is so cool! I always wanted to make a game with RPG Maker 2000 and I never thought it would be released in English! I'm so stoked! 🤩 I'm gonna check out some of the games
