A brilliant looking game with an amazing story-line, addictive game-play and beautifully designed visuals. Has strong Silent Hill vibes but game-play resembles Syberia games. Game does include survival elements, however, throughout most of the game, it will be just a typical quest. Game's duration is about 10 hours, assuming you will explore every corner and won't race to the finish.

At this point there is still a lot of brushing up to be done by the developers, as the game is flooded with bugs (here are some of the ones I experienced):
* there is no ultrawide display support. Even though the resolution option is available, it will not show anything larger than 16:9.
* glitches with inventory will show same items repeating over and over again... and will keep adding up more, as you progress through the game. By the end of it, I had about 60 flash lights and 40 razors, even though you only need one.
* some saves will result in crashes when loaded. I've tried the workarounds I found on reddit but they didn't help. Just had to load the previous save and replay the chapter.

Keep in mind, even with these bugs (and others that I didn't consider worthy of mentioning), game is still worth every penny and is really enjoyable.

It's a brilliant indie game and is extremely well designed. I really love how detailed is the environment of the game. It's an interesting story and oddly the game is really long. I've been playing it for 13 hours already and just got to the Chapter 9, which, by the looks of it, is the last chapter.

The few small things I didn't like were:
1) The riddles at the 1st camp are really hard to understand. took me forever to find the staffs and the notes with tips didn't help at all.
2) Some dialogue lines get cut off before the sentences get finished. But I guess it's because their duration is capped to duration of lines in Chezh (original) language. But that probably will get fixed at future bug fixes.
3) GPS should have the zoom in and out feature. I really struggled to understand where I am and where I'm meant to go, and, because of that, I ended up spending a lot of time wandering around and getting lost.

But, as I mentioned before, other than few minor issues, the game is really good and certainly worth the full price.

Despite a lot of negative feedback, I decided to give this game a try. Whoever said the game sucks, obviously hasn't seen or liked the original movie. Game takes place after the events of the film and is set in 1996 (or something). It starts off really slow and is more of a walking simulator than an adventure. Actually, not just a walking simulator, but more of a dog walking simulator as you play with with a character (Ellis) and his German shepherd. Probably about an hour into the game, once you get few backflashes, it starts getting more intense. To this point, about 2 hours into the game, I've come across couple of rather simple puzzles. It's all just about paying attention to everything you hear in the game and making sure you use the information to proceed. Visually it looks stunning and the forest is done to the highest detail.

Verdict: I was really expecting very little of this game, yet it turned out to be so much more. Will get back to playing it tomorrow. My rating would be 7/10.

P.S. Only buy it if you've seen and loved the original (not remake) film. Otherwise it'll be hard to follow the plot. And just as well as in the film, the game is a total mind-fu*k.

What I love about Man of Medan game, is that, unlike in other adventures, if you miss something, you don't get stuck, you still proceed in the game but it will affect the outcome of how you finish the game. All together there are 5 main characters and you play as all of them subsequently and if some of them die, they die. You have no redo's, lifes or anything. You can only restart from the very beginning.

Game is excessively suspense, creepy and scary. If you love horror and adventure games, this is a must have game.

At first attempt I finished the game with only two survivors after around 6 hours of gameplay. About to restart it, hoping that this time I'll do better. As well as, this time I'll try out the different choices of actions.

I love Resident Evil games and have played every game starting from when Resident Evil 3 was released. I cannot compare the original game to this remake, as I've not played it, but as a standalone game it is amazing. Visuals are stunning and gory, jump scares are well really well integrated into the game. Sound track leaves nothing to wish for. This far I've only completed the Leon scenario and still am looking forward to Game B and Claire's scenario. For those of you who don't know what a Game B is - it's a slightly alternate version of the original scenario with different ending. You can access Game B once you've successfully completed the original scenario.

Visually very well designed game and strongly reminds Resident Evil and a Silent Hill crossover. Only unfortunate thing is that in it's current state, the gamepad sensitivity was way too strong and the adjustments didn't work at all. I'm sure the developers will fix that issue in upcoming updates. Hope they'll add aim assist as well...

Overall - a brilliant single player experience for all Resident Evil and zombie genre lovers.

Even though it clearly says that the game has single player mode as well, it's a lie. I feel as if I've wasted money as I have a hectic lifestyle and have to be able to pause a game quite often and it is impossible when playing games online.

I play via nVidia Geforce NOW streaming game service and I cannot disconnect the server from the internet to play offline. The game offers no such option either.

In simple terms, 0 out of 10 stars because the game is unplayable for me.
