These are the thoughts of a player who has around 7000 hours in CoH2 and played it since release in 2013 and before that around 500 hours in vcoh.

The fate of this game was sealed the moment we saw a Space Marine do a front flip in Dawn of War 3. People who are now surprised about this game being a Wish edition wannabe CoH2 that had learned nothing from past mistakes made in CoH2 weren't there to see the red flags of DoW3. The talent that created the foundation of CoH 1 and 2 has long since left Relic; the lights are on but nobody is home.

I was one of the people thinking Relic could not possibly leave DoW3 in the state that is in and believed it was still salvageable. What did we get instead: Relic completely pulling the plug on the game after few months while proceeding to delete every piece of critical feedback from the forums. They got their cashgrab so all is well. That is the modern-day Relic when you take off the rose-tinted glasses for a moment.

I am not gonna even bother talking about the whataboutism defending this completely unfinished product with a million placeholders, some absolutely horrendous visuals, buggy subpar audio (every time a Tiger yells TIIIIIGOOOOR which is every 2 seconds one of my brain cells dies) that would have been better if every line and effect was copied from CoH2 nor the nonexistant map pool.

Instead I'm gonna play the game the only way I get something (definitely not fun) out of it: By seeing how high of a rank I can get by only doing the most braindead 0-effort-required simcity/blob playstyle I've ever witnessed in CoH game. If my horrendous playstyle completely turns some Allied players off from playing this game or makes them switch to Axis so we get that 100% axis search ratio that is naturally a small price to pay.

I did my five stages of grief during DoW3 release, now its your turn.
(Even though I got the game from the AMD promotion I still feel scammed FeelsOkayMan)
