Void Scrappers is a really great and fun game to play! It's very addictive and has cool graphics and sounds. There are lots of options for weapons and upgrades which is always good to see! One of the best fast-paced games I've played in a long time. Well done!

I would like to state that Defold is one of the best options for 2D game development out there today. It is 3D capable, but focused on 2D.

Over time, I have used a variety of game engines, mainly the big titles who everyone knows or has heard of, but never has there been any engine that matches Defold in both flexibility and performance.

Defold is truly cross-platform. You create your game once and without making any changes you can export it to all supported platforms. It also has a very small runtime, small build sizes and no code bloat. Defold very rarely introduces breaking changes. If there does happen to be one, the Defold team works incredibly fast on fixing it.

You can add engine features with Native Extensions. The Defold SDK allows you to write extensions to the engine in C, C++, Objective-C, Java and JavaScript. There's no need for setup or extra compilers.

The community overall is small compared to other larger engines. Even though it's not as big, the community is very active, super supportive and helpful. No other community I have seen has the kind of support that the Defold community offers. The Defold team itself is also very helpful and actively helping users and answering questions on the forum.

If you haven't tried Defold yet, it's definitely worth trying, and I encourage you to do so!
