CS:GO Review
What can I say that has not been stated before? As of 2017 the game is very active though a slight decline in players has occurred; partially due to the immense current popularity of Pubg. CSGO is still today the best competitive shooter available period. I do not see that changing until the next one is out and well sorted out. Dust 2 didn't really end up being a bad thing and I actually applaud them for the amount of changes they made unlike some others. It is such a perfect and signature map that the current changes are fine.

I DO notice my FPS ARE LOW and I feel it is a continuing issues with each update and I am afraid to mess with the console too much as one update resolution by the community may make it much more difficult down the road. I do understand the game has been overhauled and more graphical demands are needed but I am running a Nvidia 1080GTX that should be not even breaking a sweat on this game. While the game is CPU dependent there is no reason that the updates have outdated i7s from 2012 to need a 2017 i7 which I am also running as well. I don't have bad FPS by any means but I shouldn't even have to worry in this game. Valve needs to really optimise the game right now.

Prime matching could use some work, trust factor matching is barely noticeable which is a shame and Valve could definitely loosen up on some of their black/white thinking regarding quite accidental things like forgetting your password and instant 7 day trade ban when there are measures in place to verify identity. I know of third party sites that can verify my identity quicker and more accurately than Valve and they have even less staff. Support is almost becoming a questionable need as when so many questions "can not be undone by Steam Support under any circumstance" well then why not just automate the process?

The skins economy is strong, which will continue to keep the game alive just for profitability sake and the competitive seen isn't slowing down either.

If for some reason you are not playing this game, then my only question is...why?

Graphics: 8
Gameplay: 9.5
Competitive scene: 10
level of difficulty: 9
Return on investment: One of the best games to play for years and years.
