I have almost 100% completed this game pre any forthcoming DLC. It was everything I expected and more. The humour was spot-on South Park, and the pacing of the game was good.

The combat definitely improved over the previous title, and I personally didn't tire of it.

While it is fair to say that there are a ton of good releases this year that outshine this game, It ended up being my favorite release this year.

Having been dissapointed with the more recent games in the harvest moon series, Stardew Valley reminded me why I spent hours upon hours endlessly playing Harvest Moon 64.

This is the best representation of the farming life simulation game genre in the past decade.
