Borrows elements from several games, "Ubisoft Towers" from every recent Ubisoft game. Settlement clearance Just Cause style. The ground combat from the Arkham series, and great vehicle combat that makes me wish for a reboot of the Vigilante 8 series from the PS1 era. Its a little cookie cutter in mission design department, and can be a repetitive if you're just grinding it out, but if you want something you can just drop into for a few hours here and there Mad Max is well worth a look. It also doesn't hurt that the graphics/environments are absolutely fantastic, brilliant use of lighting, and great voice acting. Its really a shame this game didn't get the attention that it should have, but it did launch the same week as Metal Gear Solid 5.

Generic. Lacking in any personality. Built entirely on clichés. Infinitely spawning enemy troops. Terrible vehicle physics. A constant frustration at the lack of ammunition during missions. Those are just some of the the annoying aspects of this game. Don't get me wrong, if you're looking to waste a whole bunch of hours doing what may as well be nothing, since the game is essentially the same 15-20 minutes over and over again your can totally do that, and you'll probably enjoy it for a while. I did have a few moments, but I just can't recommend this game.
