Below is my ACTUAL GAME REVIEW not complaining about performance.

Ignoring all the giant performance issues that I can power through, this game feels very uninspired.

If you are looking for a massive next-gen gaming experience evolution from the likes of...

1. Red Dead Redemption 1 -> DDR 2
2. Dark Souls -> Elden Ring
3. GTA 4 -> GTA 5
4. Witcher 2 -> Witcher 3
5. Divinity Original Sin 1 -> 2 -> Baldur's Gate 3
5. All other games with unimaginably and pleasantly enhanced sequel experience after a LONG wait.

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT getting that here. This feels like a game that came out less than 2-years after Dragon's Dogma 1, let alone 12 years.

It feels like a wonderful game with 2007 gaming standards but with the gaming spec expectation and requirements of a gaming rig from 2026.

The world is huge, I'll give it that, but it's awfully filled with mindlessly repeated enemy group types, frequency, same combat experience, uninspired loots (consumables, materials, and equipment altogether), and side quests.

80% of the NPCs have a meaningless one-liner that's there to kill your CPU and the ones that provide quests and have actual lines and impacts to your story are bland, charmless, and simply the most flavorless characters I've seen in all of gaming history.

I cannot fathom how the lead designer was so prideful about this game and all of his claims about this game being a work of art, a masterpiece, and all that this game is not.

It's almost on par with everything that Todd Howard says before releasing a new game claiming everything that's not the actual game released. Horrible development and an even worse publisher to match.

Don't worry about damaging anything... IT'S ALL COVERED!!! JUST GO GO GO!!1!

I embarked on the Moving Out 2 journey with two pals with the commitment to 100% the game as we had for the first game. Our couch co-op escapade was nothing short of chaotic joy. The camaraderie was tested during challenging optional missions, leading to blame games. It would be a crime to forget to mention the uproarious laughter and positive memories resulted from the game's funky and hilarious physics and events. Even if perfection isn't your aim, the experience is fantastic.

Compared to its predecessor, Moving Out 2 introduces a plethora of characters, but not all are winners. Unlocking them adds a fun element, yet most lack the charm of the original cast. While not a groundbreaking sequel, the real star here is the abundance of brilliantly crafted levels with charming ideas and mini-games seamlessly integrated which were found in a separate mini-game sections.

The subtle graphical upgrade and neutral changes in physics are noticeable, enhancing the overall experience. However, a definitive ending felt a bit underwhelming—missing the epic final boss vibe found in the original.

Despite this, Moving Out 2 shines as one of the best co-op games, building on the success of its predecessor. Achievable goals and a few challenging levels keep you engaged, though the lacking grandeur in the final stage is a minor setback.

Looking ahead, I eagerly await a DLC or Moving Out 3. Adding character abilities, one-time items, or special tools could inject fresh dynamics as these are some qualities that we expected from a sequel. More customization options for characters would be a welcome addition, maintaining the same lovable goofy charm.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this gem. The unimaginably good level designs showcase meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a delightful gaming experience, overall.

A duet of flippers in the dance of gaming whimsy.

Yoku's Island Express is a truly unique game, combining game mechanisms in a way I hadn't seen or imagined enjoying before. It's a charming open-world pinball adventure with delightful soundtracks complementing each zone. This cozy experience has become an unforgettable gaming memory, one I plan to cherish and crave for a long time.

The game impresses with excellently crafted level designs, clever pinball systems, diverse visual themes for each zone, a light lore background, enjoyable quests, secret optional challenges, and cute art styles. These aspects evoke a glorious nostalgia for the simpler times in my childhood.

My only criticism lies in the somewhat underwhelming rewards of secret challenge missions and quests. Despite the effort invested, rewards often translate to collectibles, extra currency, or minor upgrades with limited utility. While not a major drawback, it could be disappointing for players expecting more substantial returns.

Despite this, the game's well-crafted platforming puzzles, though not particularly looking challenging perhaps due to the cozy visuals, reveal surprising polish and a well-balanced difficulty. For anyone who still has doubts on it being a platformer, you'll be surprised at how well it scratches the platforming itch. A must-play for any gamers and a certified cozy experience.

Uniquely flavored necromancer simulator topped with ridiculous and nonsensical writing that somehow works!

Boneraiser Minions presents a unique take on the 'survivor-like' genre, establishing itself with distinct features compared to its counterparts. The game introduces a level of complexity that goes beyond typical survival dynamics, requiring players to strategically navigate maps with precision. This adds a layer of depth, making movements more tactical, whether it's dodging adversaries, securing loot, or activating special constructs.

The combat system is elevated by a diverse range of special, one-time abilities that players can acquire during the course of a game. This not only enhances the gameplay but also adds a layer of unpredictability, ensuring that each session feels fresh and dynamic.

The sheer variety presented in the game is impressive — numerous characters, minions, abilities, buildings, Steam achievements, and meta-upgrades contribute to its high replayability. However, amidst the richness, the game stumbles in delivering clear and comprehensible descriptions. The humor, while undoubtedly ridiculous and flavorful, sometimes leads to convoluted descriptions of unlocks and upgrades. This lack of clarity can be a hurdle, hindering players from making informed and clever choices.

The overarching consequence is an incomplete understanding of what more than half of the descriptions entail and how the upgrades impact the gameplay. Despite this shortcoming, Boneraiser Minions remains a captivating and entertaining time-waster. With a focus on improving clarity in descriptions, the game could enhance the overall player experience, transforming it into a standout title in the genre.

Voyaging Through Silence: A Journey Cut Short.

FAR: Lone Sails is an odd game to rate. On one hand, the atmosphere and the sentiment that the developer was aiming for work exceedingly well. You traverse alone through a wasteland with a steampunk vehicle, and it feels both melancholic and cathartic. On the other hand, the narrative, though seemingly intended, lacks a meaningful message or lesson.

The Okomotive operation mechanism works effectively, and with each upgrade, I found myself excited about the visual changes to the exterior. Each addition sparked my imagination, leaving me eager for more, perhaps even customization options later on. I didn't realize how short this game was; it ended quickly after about three upgrades, just when I was getting used to the journey and the intended feel of the game.

Despite enjoying the frequently changing, calming scenery and the simple experience of going on a journey, the game, with its lack of content and narrative, feels more like a staggering prologue to an unreleased game series. It's truly unfortunate that the developers didn't push this further to achieve something far greater and more ambitious. Along with the reasons explained beforehand, there is zero incentive to replay the game other than to simply obtain the Steam achievements definitely missable in the first playthrough and I believe that aspect of the game was done improperly as well.

The potential is there and I can envision what it could have been. But as it stands, FAR: Lone Sails is barren and not worth the asking price.

Take the call, drive-in, casually cause a massacre, and repeat. Or there will be consequences.

Hotline Miami is a brilliant top-down twin-stick shooter that still lives up to its fame and glory, more than a decade after its initial release. It's a gore and blood fest that you can plan, fail, and repeat until you are completely satisfied. The controls are flawless and the kills leading to a long combo chain could not have been more pleasurable.

The player basically assumes the role of a psychopath that perfectly executes its assigned mission each and every step of the way without ever understanding the purpose or the cause, yet you just feel that you must follow through to understand anything.

Initially, the game could feel like a mindless massacre simulator, however, there's a deep lore and world-building in the back that gets you immersed. The fact that the main character knows about as much as the player does is such a phenomenal narrative choice, especially for a game with such complex and macabre undertone that apparently came out of nowhere in 2012.

Even if you're not invested in the narrative or lore, Hotline Miami offers immeasurable value and excitement through its hyper-action gameplay. The strategic elements of choosing masks, planning paths, and adapting weapons in each chapter contribute to a rewarding and immersive gameplay experience

The extreme parkour simulator we need and deserve to relish.

Have you ever been amazed and felt your palms sweating from watching parkour videos? Parkouring over high buildings, dangerous obstacles, abandoned establishments, etc. I know I have and always wanted a proper video game implementation of the extreme sport which I have no guts to attempt in real life for.

Clustertruck is what I had always wanted but with my desire and imagination cranked all the way up to the heavens, then piercing a satellite above Earth.

You are parkouring over countless fast-moving semi-trucks towards a goal-line, maneuvering and dodging obstacles. It sounds chaotic and stressful but it gracefully allows the player to enjoy a pure high-octane gameplay without an ounce of vexation. All the levels are short and clear (except for a couple of levels towards the end) and you rarely get stressed over a single level since restarting is quick and satisfying. The game is silky-smooth and is one of the most optimized game in terms of overall player experience.

Not only is the game extremely addicting, the developers understand how to interact and engage with the player without a single narration, commentary, or even a title to any of the levels in the game through the use of clever game mechanisms and platform manipulation. Topping that all off with amazing soundtracks that befits each zones' theme make this an almost flawless game.

If that wasn't enough, the high praise that I give to this game above is after my play-through without using a single ability. Clustertruck comes with 20+ delightfully entertaining and quirky abilities that the player can mix-and-match through out their whole journey.

One small criticism I can mention is that understanding the player marker/object takes some time and I can see most people quitting because they cannot put up with the game enough to understand exactly where they are since the player model is visually non-existent. Due to this, it is difficult to know when and where you are going to land after a jump throughout the game.

I HIGHLY recommend this near-flawless 3D platformer to anyone interested in the genre and ask that they try to put up with the first 2 zones until they get accustomed to the in-game player object, the general physics, and control.

Unique sci-fi investigation simulator without the deduction in an imaginable space station.

How the developers built such a believable future with a sinister capitalism as the backdrop in a bite sized walking simulator is commendable. Unique story-telling system/gameplay mechanism that allows players to capture the story on their own pace provided high accessibility for newcomers to this type of game. Also can't forget to comment about the captivating story that's quite easy to follow and it not overstaying its welcome is great. Topping it all off with a spine-chilling revelation and finally gracing the players with a beautiful closure delivered through another twist is just amazing. Absolutely recommended.

Spiritual predecessor to Elden Ring.

With a bit of seriousness, though the game is intended to be taken without any, I think this is an unlikely solid and cozy game that anyone can relax and turn off their brain off to. There's no story or lore that you need to focus on, the combat is quite satisfying and simple, undemanding mini-games, and just the experience of going around in a open world that resembles other great games such as Witcher 3, Skyrim, etc. but without any of the stress that comes from its chores.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the play-through except in some part of the game where I wasn't able to find the hidden group of enemies since it did not spawn due to a bug and had to run around like a madman. But that only matters to people who care about achievements.

If there would be a sequel/prequel to this game, I would like to see more variety in enemies , weapon types, more mechanisms from other games parodied in the game, and more mini-games since the rocket booster platforming levels are just pure fun.

For what it's worth and for what the developer has intended with the game, this is an easy recommend if you don't expect anything out of it, which you can easily prepare by just watching the trailer.

An excellent video game adaptation of the original Mafia (2002).

If you like a good crime genre game, look no further. Exceptionally written story will keep you on your toes every minute and an unexpected twist is such a delight to be graced. It's like playing a great movie.

...with that said to chime into the lighthearted crowd cheering for this game, this is honestly an enjoyable game full of casual, warm, and somehow nostalgic experiences that knows exactly when it should end.

I know the game is overwhelmingly positive on Steam and you might be expecting more than what you will be getting. There's nothing too special to note about the game-play and that's not what makes this game great. The game simply, yet perfectly captures the essence of what it felt like to play an RPG for the first time when you were a little lad: Effortless game progression, short, plain, and satisfying puzzles, all gift-wrapped in an atmosphere that naturally delivers equanimity.

And with that spirit, I can recommend this game to anybody who wants to go back and recapture the past.
