Story pacing is slightly slow with little agency so far in Act 1 and 2, but the game is overall rather pleasant. The animated character model (I assume Live2D) is quite novel and pleasant to behold, extending to rather impressive levels during the scenes - and I'd say is what I like most in this game. I also enjoy the full character voice acting, as subjective as it may in such games.

"Yet another Survivor game", but it certainly feels chunky and satisfying, with reasonably pleasing visuals. Looking forward to the full game.

Very much more of the same from the excellently-enjoyable first game. A little less novelty this time around and I do prefer the level and boss design from the predecessor, but B2 was still overall an enjoyable and not-too-difficult Metroidvania for me.

Starts off feeling a little generic/regular but picks up quick in terms of story and production quality. Happy to be able to support this project.

Really exceptional pixel-art style paired with great quality animation (albeit somewhat short scenes). Overall a rather joyful game with a feel-good story and a surprising variety of gameplay in the form of minigames. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

This game does its thing rather well in most, if not all its aspects. The expanded mechanics allow it to make an RPG out of Ren'py with a rather robust exploration, inventory, and turn-based combat system. Rather decent art too, though they come in varied styles from what I presume to be different artists' works - with well-animated 2D scenes to boot. Fantasy world is well fleshed-out with a whole setting outside the playable area. Quite a fair variety of ladies (different fantasy races, even furry ones) to cater to different tastes.

Plenty of content in the current version (would take me an extra 2-3h if I hadn't skipped over what I'd played on the pre-Steam versions), but I can see there's a whole lot more to come. Better than a lot of other offerings out there to be sure, really enjoyed my time playing through the current content.

Rather simple, yet quite charming. Great introductory title to VR FPS and especially great for younger persons too. Mind that it's rather short and can be beaten in under 4 hours.

Excellent value and comfort for an on-and-off player, with its absence of subscription-requirement. I return for new story content, otherwise doing only the Daily and Weekly objectives, and I feel no pressure to spend on microtransactions at all. Love coming back to this game.

This one's a 7/10 for me. Recommend waiting for improvement patches and/or a sale unless you're really keen on Metro and VR shooters.

Took me 12.2h (10.3h in-game) to beat the game on Hardcore difficulty with a lot of time spent searching for ammo and collectible postcards, so the length is somewhat fair relative to other VR FPS I've played.

Ambitious and worthy title of the Metro franchise with cool environments, unique gun mechanics, and novel backpack storage system. Characters and English voice acting were fun to follow along with. However, is marred by technical shortcomings (so-so graphics, lack of dynamic environmental props, sub-par PC performance) and somewhat repetitive levels and enemies (Metro underground, two-and-a-half variants of mutants, generic gun-wielding human bandits). More worthwhile for Metro fans than those who are unfamiliar. I enjoyed it as one of the former.

To be honest, I had pretty big expectations from seeing the (at the time) 96% review score on Steam and briefly glancing over a review video on YT that seemed to praise it a lot. Ultimately, the game falls short on many aspects.

More than half the game is running around unnecessarily large maps of empty streets - littered with enemies that you'd simply run around (only ever inclined to kill them in the few narrow indoor areas of the game) - and the very rare ammo or health pickup on the ground. The game at a later point also required the player to backtrack a loooong way to collect an extra item they'd otherwise miss, which by that point of the game you're likely to never use it.

Story wise, little is ever thoroughly explained and there isn't any conclusive answer to the how-and-why as I usually see in other horror titles. Environment storytelling is also lacking. Unless I'm just dense and not observant to the telltale exposition.

Game itself is also rather short and would have been 1-2 hours shorter still if the levels weren't so huge to jog around in and without the backtracking.

I've also run into a couple of rather annoying bugs; one I could simply re-load the game and avoid the problem action, while the other had to reset my key bindings to default so the in-game hint would actually properly prompt me as to what I should be pressing to perform an action.

Overall, I suppose it's "OK" for what seems to mostly be a 1-man project (judging from the credits), and it's probably a reasonable purchase at its generous price point. I'm just feeling wanting for and somewhat disappointed.
