I was expecting an interesting story and fun gameplay with puzzles to solve. What I got was having to try the same hard to control scene over and over again because I constantly run out of oxygen and die...

Some people might enjoy that but I play games to relax, not to stress myself...

It is rare that a game can really be played at your own pace, no matter if you're a hardcore player or a casual - Timberborn is for everyone.

It can be anything from a relaxed city builder to a hard survival game depending on the map and your settings. The price-to-fun ratio is top as well! You get countless hours of playtime for a fair price.

Also those Beavers are cute as hell!

After finishing the first mission, the game just crashes and it does so every time I try to continue playing. Guess I am not playing any more...

Edit: After fiddling with the graphics settings it seemed to work again but now it's just crashing on loading the game. Impossible to have fun with this.

The game might be a lot of fun if it wouldn't crash constantly. It is impossible to get anything done this way. Do not buy this game!

To make it short: My girlfriend hates this game because I am addicted.

I got it just a week ago but spent way too much time playing it already. Still figuring out how everything works while unlocking more stuff but it already is a lot of fun!

Update after 2 weeks and 75 hours of playtime: Game is still addictive. My brain turns into a bunch of conveyor belts...

IMHO this is the Game of the Year 2014. No doubt.
