The monetization of this game is beyond gross, it's on similar levels to a mobile gacha game.

It's games like this that make me wish Steam reviews weren't a binary yes/no. Is this a good game? Yes. Is it a great game? No. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. Unless you are a super-fan of Bethesda style RPGs, you should definitely wait for a sale down the road if you are thinking of picking this up. As someone who did love Skyrim and the most recent Fallouts (except 76), I could not be more disappointed by so many aspects of this game. The braindead easy combat, the flat writing, the antiquated dialogue systems where your choices have no real impact on the game world, the over reliance on fast travel that kills any sense of immersion of you actually existing in the world. I could go on and on.
