This game is incredible in many ways. It is an emotional gut punch, over and over, but it still manages to inspire hope for the future. The gameplay, while frustrating at times, is incredibly fun, the bosses are tough, and when you fail, it rarely feels like the game's fault, only your own.

My main criticisms for the game are that certain mechanics are questionable (ropes), and there are definitely times where distinguishing your character on the screen is difficult, which is important when you need to land right-side-up. Also, I hit a game-breaking bug in the last area, 2 minutes from the ending (but the developers were able to fix my save file), but hopefully this issue will be fixed soon.

Overall, though, strong strong recommendation from me! This is 100% my GOTY for 2023 (and this is the year Zelda TotK came out!). It's nice to have this locked in early
