Ah, Terraria, one of the more well known games on here, and also one of my favourites. Simply put, it's a lot like Minecraft, except it's 2D and has far far more content than Minecraft, and that's in terms of blocks, enemies, weapons, bosses, and even in terms of special events. For example, did you think that the enemies spawning night was bad enough? Watch out for the Blood Moon, enemies will swarm all over your screen in an attempt to get you on the surface layer.
And, like Minecraft, there's also a sense of progression, although unlike it, Terraria has much more stages of it due to the amount of bosses. There's even a hardcore mode if you manage to defeat one of the bosses, which, as the title says, will put your world into hardcore mode, meaning more powerful enemies will now spawn, as well as more powerful ores and such later on.
In the end, would I recommend this? Yes, of course, it's a fantastic game!
