I want to enjoy the game and give it a positive review but it has too many negatives vs positives:

Positives:
+ Gorgeous game: the pixel art is really nice, is very enjoyable to go around the world.
+ Fun idea: the wacky idea of thriving as a graveyard keeper like in the first game but with expanded capabilities is fun to play.

Negatives:
- Awfully optimized/Full of bugs/nonexistent QoL: For a 2D game it feels poorly done, it lacks QoL that is a must in games of resource management and automation the game is both grindy and tedious without much help to make it less of a pain in the butt.
- Quests and Progression all over the place: My character knew things ahead of quest progression without starting the corresponding quests that would have revealed such information or requirement, makes the game feel all over the place not planned out correctly.
- It does not know what it wants to be: it captures you with grindy progression, but that's it, that is not a compliment, you spent hours doing stuff because of grindy progression but it feels disconnected and badly planned and designed.
- Feels vibe coded compared to its predecessor: is bad when your game feels like slop, in the era of blurting out content mindlessly with no direction, meaning or intention it makes the game feel empty despite the great amount of content it has.

Pros:
- Free to play
- You can either pay for and/or grind in-game currency for aesthetics and boosters
- Easy and attractive interface
- You can play against other players or AI
- Good platform to newcomers
Cons:
- Little glitches and bugs that can totally break the entire experience (is a strategy game)
- Limited variety of card from the selected expansions
- Can only play singles or Two-Headed Giant
- Collection management is flawed
