I played the first Deceit for hundreds of hours with a full party of friends and many hours solo in ranked on very few maps with less items and obviously no tasks, I can see my friends and I doing the same thing with this one as it has expanded on the gameplay a ton with it still feeling like the original in the best ways.

Game is fantastic, different from the original 'two versions' for sure. They take a lot of aspects from other games and adding it to the Deceit concept (You can see the Among Us and Dead by Daylight inspirations for sure).

The amount of item variety in this game is insane and every game it's fun to try something new / find new ways to use the items together (Mask+Muzzle, Ball and chain+Gas grenade etc).

The current map is really good. I love the concept and there is a ton of different strategies you can do depending on what role you have and plenty of hiding spots to find. There is a ton of different tasks, after almost 10 hours I don't think I've done them all. Chalkboards, scanner room and elevator/generator are super cool editions as well. Some great horror elements as well (Childs toy picture task etc) and possible funny moments with the locking of the cell, opening the front door and trying to coordinate turning off the showers

My main complaint is lack of maps and the fact the current map only has one 'stage'. Original deceit only had a couple maps, but multiple stages after each night which made things interesting. This is obviously something they'll expand on in the future which I'm excited about.
