A seriously enjoyable game with a lot of longevity. It has a massive and creative community, engaging gameplay that always gives you something new to learn, and a wide array of playstyles to choose from. Theres a class for everyone really. And whenever you get bored with one, you can pick up another and try that out and it'll completely change the game. I joined steam eight years ago to download TF2, and it was my first fps. It was a great introduction to the genre, and I've been around ever since. There's honestly not a multiplayer shooter I could recommend more. Even though there are times I've stopped playing, I always find myself coming back. The economy, maps, community created items, cosmetics, niche playstyles, casual leveling, competitive (whenever you manage to get into a match) strange leveling, the fancommunity, sfm and gmod works, and unusuals- the game just has so much to offer.
