My old Lost Planet 2. They say that when you liked a game when you were a kid, no amount of reviews can ruin your opinion, and it's true: despite a lot of negative reviews I read, the game is still as innovative and fun for me as it was 13 years ago. I remember on some holiday my aunt gave me a disc with this game (since my first PC game was Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, she looked for something similar). I was very happy then, but right after the first mission the game would crash. Even after that I didn't dislike it and instead of co-op and story I played with bots on different maps and modes in training. Then I grew up and got this game digital, finished and was very satisfied. Since those times I never forgot about it and every year I called one of my friends to play co-op. And now, in 2020, I bought it on Steam, and I didn't regret it. After playing it with a friend (me with a licence - him with a pirated copy), I found out that the game is not dead yet, and as I don't go in, there will always be 1-3 lobbies with people from different parts of the world, who are going through the story.
To everyone who has read up to this point - thank you for listening to my story :)

And now straight to the review.
For 2010 game, maybe not a breakthrough, but far from the lamest. Excellent visuals, not bad mechanics (although my friend was very angry with them, you can get used to it), gameplay as a third-person shooter did not upset. The plot, to me, is implemented strangely, although the idea is interesting. The game is played on behalf of several factions, which acquire different weapons, which will then be useful at the end, when all factions come together to solve a common problem. If you've played any of the Lost Planet series, buy it. If you accidentally stumbled upon this game - think carefully, but if you really like the game and want to play it with a friend - buy it.

Most of the negative reviews in Steam - false. The main problem is still Games for Windows Live, although I solved it in a couple of minutes, one and a half of which were spent installing GFWL. Steam will give you a key, you just log in to your Xbox account and enter it. In the time I've been playing I've made friends with GFWL, seriously, it's not as bad as it sounds. It's basically an old Xbox Game Bar shell, through which you can do the same actions but more conveniently. Then there is a problem with the processor cores, if there are more than 4 of them - the game will not run, you need to disable, and I had 4 cores 8 threads.
