Every once in a while, a game comes buy that has zero marketing, you have zero expectations for, but completely takes you by surprise.

This is that one game.

What a great game! It has a very Dark Souls'ish feeling to it:

- If you die you drop your Geo (the name of the currency). To reclaim it venture back to the place where you died, but beware of the evil spirit that lingers around (similar to Salt and Sanctuary).
- NPCs are scattered throughout the world and can will talk to you, always exhaust their dialogue just as in DkS. Often they will then head back to town to offer their services to you.
- Speaking of dialogue, a lot of it is very cryptic and you will have to piece it all together by yourself.
- Benches are like Bonfires
- "Illusory" walls!

Pros and Cons after roughly 2 hours of gameplay:

Pros:

- It is a metroidvania style game, meaning you are free to explore the world as much as you want, but sometimes your road is blocked by a door ("Does not open from this side ;) ) or by an un-traversable hurdle. It is very likely that you also have to come from the other side or need a power-up.
- You can never travel too far though and "get lost" because there is a comfortable way to get around the world.
- Nice music.
- Controls feel very precise, (except for the aerial down slash, but that may just be me).
- Collectable secrets.

Cons:

- NPCs don't have a human voice and their soundbites seem rather limited. In my opinion this gets rather annoying if you talk to the same NPC more often to exhaust their dialogue.

I will update this review whenever I have something more to add.

Awesome soundtrack. Difficulty seems to be a logarithmic graph, whereas player power is linear. thus, at some point your character is so strong, that it doesnt matter what the game throws at you. (this counts for the normal difficulty mode)
