The Comte de Saint Germain (c. 1691 or 1712 – 27 February 1784) was a European adventurer, with an interest in science, alchemy and the arts. He achieved prominence in European high society of the mid 1700s. Prince Charles of Hesse-Kassel considered him to be "one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived". St. Germain used a variety of names and titles, an accepted practice amongst royalty and nobility at the time. These include the Marquis de Montferrat, Comte Bellamarre, Chevalier Schoening, Count Weldon, Comte Soltikoff, Graf Tzarogy and Prinz Ragoczy. In order to deflect enquiries as to his origins, he would make far-fetched claims, such as being 500 years old, leading Voltaire to sarcastically dub him "The Wonderman" and that "He is a man who does not die, and who knows everything"

Adactylidium is a genus of mites known for its unusual life cycle.[1] The pregnant female mite feeds upon a single egg of a thrips, growing five to eight female offspring and one male in her body. The single male mite mates with all the daughters when they are still in the mother. The females, now impregnated, eat their way out of their mother's body so that they can emerge to find new thrips eggs.[2] The male emerges as well, but does not look for food or new mates, and dies after a few hours. The females die at the age of four days, when their own offspring eat them alive from the inside.[3]

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Lake is a reservoir in Richland County, South Carolina, United States. Construction of the reservoir was finished in 1973. The 93.2 acres (377,000 m^2) lake is on a tributary of the Crane Creek River.

The lake is believed to be named after a place called Morris Village, a nearby residential treatment center for people with substance dependence.
