Early Access Review
Roguelike city builder. If you find yourself enjoying Frostpunk, Cities: Skylines, Factorio, or enjoy roguelike/meta progress games, this is a great game for you.

Visuals are great, LOTS of dev support, fun progression, fun building, etc.

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy puts you in a dystopian future where the all-controlling Federation is being overthrown by the Secreta Orginization. You play an agent of E.Y.E, a private army which fights for the Secreta, while fighting a civil war between themselves.

The story is quite interesting and inspiring, but the dialogue isn't voiced, and when anything is spoken, it's spoken in a weird sims-gibberish language. However, character choices do affect the missions, such as choosing to shoot up a bar, or calmly speak with the owner. You can help your fellow E.Y.E agents, or choose to abandon them and do the mission solo. The world fits the tone of the story well, putting you in cities, slums, colonies, factories, other planets, and sewers. However, there aren't enough NPC's. The world feels empty, just you and bad guys. There are no civilians to avoid, no merchants hiding in corners to sell you a boost.

Gameplay is very smooth, and has several tutorials in case you didn't understand some of the more advanced mechanics. One can build their character with a specific endgame in mind, or they can continue and simply put points into whatever they want, which makes progression very simple to manage. The inventory management is clunky, and simply hindering, limiting your full potential, but it could have been worse. Campaign missions are ridiculously long and easy, whereas secondary missions seem to be harder and shorter. Adjusting the difficulty on the secondary missions changed it into a fun and exiciting challenge.

The general feel of the game is exhilarating, fighting monsters, looters, cops, and watching their bodies fall to the side, explode, or watch their limbs get sliced off. There hasn't been an end to the content, and even if I do reach level 50+, there are still more weapons to unlock and purchase. I haven't gotten all the cybertech upgrades, or psi powers, or finished all the research. This game simply never ends, you choose where to stop.

Gameplay - 10/10
Story - 7/10
World/Environment - 9/10

Overall - 9/10 I would definently reccomend buying this game and playing it with a few friends.

I hope there will be an E.Y.E 2, I would back it on kickstarter if there would be! I am looking forward to seeing more games by Streum Studios as well.
