First of all, if you plan to buy a game in the expectation to have an alternative to Guitar Hero, don't. It's muchy different from Guitar Hero which is an arcade game. Rocksmith is more like a tutor. You have arcade games that brings you in music theory and exercises. You have the season mode, where you can craft your on music with a band following you. And you can also use the classic Learn a Song mode, where you have many songs which to learn to play.

Well, I had a guitar sitting here for a long time and now I finally found something to make use of it. ROcksmith is very easy to learn as it progresses slowly.

Ok, so let me tell... in the spirit this is one more expense management software, just like Mint, just like Money. But I say that in the sense of needing to have the discipline to go through your expenses in a weekly basis at list. If you don't have the discipline for it, don't buy it! You'll end up using for about one or two months and letting it go.
After telling that, let me tell you what got my attention in YNAB. This is different from any expense management system because it is pro-active instead of reactive. In other systems, you'll enter you salary and then you'll be consuming it as you expend it during the month, until you receive a new salary. YNAB (You Need a Budget) presents a new concept in management called budgeting. Their philosophy is that once you have an income, you must allocate all of it, every penny, in the categories that you are planning to invest in that month. Even if the allocation of your money is in something like "saving for unplanned expense". Than you respect your allocation (budgeting) during the month. Every expenses that you log in the app will discount from your corresponding category budget. This is why YNAB is proactive. You don't have the sensation of money without a direction. Once you receive your money you'll have to plan where it will go.
This has been working great for me, I'm using for a couple of months now. Also, they have a mobile app that allows you to record your expenses on the go.
