It seems to me the devs are completely out of touch with its player base and has no clue of what game they have made. They tried to run these free weeks or whatever they are called but for long time players there is absolutely no reason to be excited over the game other than self found satisfaction from the existing content. The Halloween events are really fun but instead of releasing more themed events they just slap on a free week and tweet about it. Most people install the game over the free weeks just delete the game after a few games. Instead they could produce meaningful content and I am sure people will pay for it.

Things such as free DLCs are just one additional map and its free because they know they can't sell for peanuts. This brings on to DLCs such as Sienna. It took almost two years for it to come out compared to half a year for other career DLCs. There has also been no communication from fatshark in its usual style and coupled with no meaningful content releases are the reasons that many of the players have quit as they moved on to Darktide and realised its even worse than the state of Vermintide 2. The devs tried to balance out the release of Darktide and Sienna DLC ultimately didn't work out and we are now left with a half baked game that no one really plays and killing off their most popular game at the same time.

Hate to say that the game seems like it won't have any growth potential anymore after Sienna DLC as we can tell from fatshark's emails that they are constantly working on Darktide to revive it somehow xd. I'm glad for the people that has quit so they don't have to see the immensely skill inflated coru staff Sienna players now spawning in dead skeletons to fight as if they're playing BTD5 then telling everyone they have the highest damage in the official discord server. Not to even mention that it took fatshark months to address the flame walk bug that kills patrol in seconds. The game is fun but the devs simply does not know how to maintain their playerbase.
