Reboot of the NFS franchise returning to its roots. Beautiful game, exciting map, cool cars and decent soundtrack. No lootboxes, no speedcards and no cars or races behind paywall.
Brake to drift is present, most of the cars handle weirdly compared to the rest of the series and the story and cutscenes are more than a little awkward.
Most of the graphical weirdness (lights flickering, strong grain effect etc) and the car handling can be improved with a couple of mods so remember to download Frosty ModManager and a couple of mods from Nexus Mods to turn B2D off (if you feel like it) and improve the performance, graphics and car handling from default.
Haven't fallen through the map yet and Xbox One controller (wired) works perfectly.
Originally completed the game 99,9% on PS4, now repurchased on Steam to mess around with mods and play with randos.
