This game is seriously ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing in some very specific ways, and unfortunately very mediocre in many others. If you can get past the game mechanics, which are annoying at best, you encounter one of the best written and most reactive games I have ever played. Every action you take and how you conduct yourself in every conversation has a cascading effect on how events in the game unfold and how everyone else responds to you.

Non spoilery example: There is a boss that, depending on how you act, you can kill roughly halfway through the game, right near the end of the game, have another boss kill him near the end of the game, or have him kill another boss for you near the end of the game.

This is the first and only game I have ever played where there truly was no best path through the game. You make choices, and your choices have consequences, but every path you take through the world of international espionage is rewarded in some way, so if you want to be Jason Bourne, cold and professional, you can. You can also be Sterling Archer, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spy extraordinairre and set off every alarm, loudly kill every bad guy, and attempt to sweet talk every female you encounter.
