UPDATE: The deceive devs/mods/testing team/inside clique finally did it last week, and starting banning players from the official discord with no reason or notification given (even to one of their own former members, again, with no reason given but it's believed because he disagreed with the mods and testing group on something), and started in-game banning for the high level/good players. They banned the 14 yr old I mentioned below, again, with no notification or reason given. They also banned pretty much every other level 500+ player in game, again with no reason given in many instances and no ToS broken. I deeply regret having purchased this game and given my money to these horrible developers and company. I deeply regret wasting so much time on this game. POTENTIAL NEW PLAYERS, PLEASE READ: IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT, DON'T. IT'S A CHILDISH CLIQUE THAT WILL BAN THE MINUTE YOU DISAGREE WITH THEM, ASK THEM IF THE GAME IS DYING (BANNABLE OFFENSE BECAUSE TRUTH HURTS), OR TRASH TALK ANYONE. ONE GUY GOT HIS POSTS DELETED FOR CALLING SOMEONE A "NOOB". THAT'S TOO "OFFENSIVE" TO THEM. RUN AWAY GROUP THIS TOXIC, CHILDISH GROUP OF JR HIGH SCHOOLERS IN ADULT BODIES.


The game itself had a lot of potential. However, the devs did not prioritize well and updates were very infrequent and often missed what the community at large wanted. The likely reason for this is that they their test group were also players (so likely unpaid) that were often mods, and weren't particularly good at the game or understood the mechanics of it. That would lead to very biased and unnecessary balancing updates, mainly to buff the agents that the testers and mods liked, while nerfing agents that the testers/mods didn't like playing against. We can see where this is going.

Obviously, I put in a lot of hours because I had found some steady groups of players I enjoyed playing, though that eventually ended. There's now only about 100-200 players, most of whom are very seasoned making it impossible for new players to pick up this game and play against other players of similar skill. They'll just get pounded into oblivion by the veteran players, and quit within an hour or so. Game will be completely dead within a few months of this writing, if not before.

At this point, the community on the official discord is extremely bad. The mods will ban anyone who disagrees with them on the most trivial of topics (I'm not banned, btw, so I have no skin in this game), the few players that are left on the official discord that aren't mods are just testers and besties with the mods, and have some weird vendetta against a 14 yr old boy who beats them in this game. They went as far as nerfing this kid's main to point where any normal player wouldn't be able to use that agent, but this kid just adjusts and kept beating them, so they're now trying to figure out ways to ban him outright. I've never seen a smallish community of adult gamers get so obsessed over a 14 yr old in my life. Truly amazing and pathetic.

Ultimately, the game is pretty fun for a while, but the community and the devs failed it. I won't be sad when it dies, but it is a shame for an idea that had so much potential.
