The gameplay is just... kinda okay. The third boss is a bullet hell but you can't dodge or hide behind things, so you just take damage. Not much dodging... and the fishing minigame is just... okay. I don't know. I think I'd rather do other things with my time.

Moreover, the discussion forums have had bugs posted for months and the developer never really responded. The achievements only work on every other launch or so, which is just confusing. Some mechanics aren't immediately clear like the existence of red blocks or lack thereof, and... idk. It's just okay.

The runs take a long time, there's a ton of backtracking, combat feels repetitive. I never got to any "puzzles" like the trailer suggests, maybe I didn't make it far enough. But I did do several runs, beat the game once, idk.

It's a fun game! Good strategy!

The game mechanics end up being really shallow once you figure them out. Fruit storage becomes a big concern, but ends up taking so much space in the interior of your van that you optimize all the fun away. I wanted a chill game, but exploration is weirdly only occasionally awarded: new fruit, new abilities at times... I think it's not that fun in the end.

AMAZINGLY FUN GAME. Legend of Zelda (2D)-like, Metroidvania, just extraordinarily rewarding exploration, fun and occasionally challenging combat, skill is rewarded, gameplay is incredible. I cannot recommend this game enough. One of my favorite (short) games of all time.

Note: Took me less than 8 hours to 100%, so while it'll be a great experience, it won't last forever.

It's a fun little game, took me 57 hours to complete, but you don't need to play that long if you don't want to. It's charming, has a clever gameplay loop of tesselating to make drills which have powers and abilities which make it easier to dig, and involves some fun build variety.

A fun Motherlode-like game, idk the name of the genre. But the core gameplay loop is very solid, exploring, digging, getting minerals... to then upgrade your ability to fight enemies at night?? and explore further. Fun to play, fun to complete and beat challenges and get unlocks, fun to learn and grow in skills. A good game.

A lovely game for completionists. Took me 107 hours to 100% it, finishing all Turret Trials. Without that "true 100%" push, it would likely have been only 60 hours. That said, it's a great shoot-em-up game with fun build definition and weapon variety, and I quite enjoyed it.

If you're a completionist, I DO NOT RECOMMEND 100%ING THE TURRET TRIALS. Apart from that, the game rewards an analytical and inquisitive mind optimizing DPS to destroy your foes. Lovely game.

Honestly one of the best games of all time. A phenomenal RPG and platformer, with extremely compelling and rewarding exploration. The depth of the RPG battle system also allows for great combat, and a lot of requisite theorycrafting. I 100%ed it (full archives, all achievements) in 76 hours, and loved every moment of it.

Truly a masterpiece.

A fun little game, basically a more fun Minesweeper with some extremely challenging combat in a single level. Great for the price, took me 20 hours to 100% it.

It's aggressively mid, imo. Not awful, not great. Beating the game is really anticlimactic which sorta sucks a lot of the joy out of the game. Much of the game's strategy lies in choices of party composition ("mercenaries" and their "aspects"), but it's easy to beat the game even on normal mode several times before unlocking even a fourth of these options. So when you lose the thrill of victory so early due to poorly written endings, it doesn't drive you to unlock more mercenaries, it just makes victory bittersweet.
