I am not interested in writing novels for reviews. Jazz is already a subjective genre that can be interpreted differently. My reviews are generalizations without getting into hipster musical theory or circular breathing. How does it make you feel? What colors does it provide? What frustrated me about it (which can also mean lack of understanding). Your review of Alice In Chains as “cozy” was all I needed to know without the wordy saga before it. So if I say “good vibes”, it would mean you’re in for a time that brings light to your heart. In closing, just because an album is Blue Note, or made by your favorite icon, doesn’t automatically make it awesome. And if you wanted to talk about mild psych rock, we could do that all day. Because in da clurb we all fam, or whatever you youngsters say.
