Fun fact: The Sonic restaurant tried to create their own small restaurant economy by printing their own money for their workers to increase motivation, you could buy meals and merch with this money, but workers buying merch with "Sonic-Bucks" eventually resold the merch for real dollars, which made a surprisingly large dent in the local economy, and these "Sonic-Bucks" were eventually diminished.
