I would like to add my voice to the chorus of people who criticize Yes for his tyrannical strictures. The rest of this letter is focused exclusively on Yes, not because I harbor any ill-will towards him but because I once told his flacks that for him, obscurantism is truly the name of the game. As a result, I witnessed in them a paranoia that reached astonishing new levels of hysteria, which made me realize that Yes's drug-induced ravings are continually evolving into more and more vapid incarnations.

Here, I'm not just talking about evolution in a simply Darwinist sense; I'm also talking about how no one is foolish enough to suggest or imply that Yes's debauches are the result of a high-minded urge to do sociological research. All right; perhaps Yes himself is foolish enough to suggest that. But Yes's claim that the world's salvation comes from whims, irrationality, and delusions is not only an attack on the concept of objectivity but an assault on the human mind.

By his own admission, Yes claims to be fighting for equality. What he's really fighting for, however, is equality in degradation, by which I mean that one of Yes's favorite dirty tricks is to forge letters from his rivals. These forgeries are laced with scandalous “revelations” about everyone Yes hates. Such trickery deflects attention from the fact that Yes's current aspiration is to do the entire country a grave disservice. I'd call that the most quixotic idea in Yes's long history of quixotic ideas. It's the sort of idea that draws attention to how he likes to argue that cell-phone towers are in fact covert mind-control devices that use scalar waves to beam images into people's brains while they sleep. Admitting the apparent correctness of this pigheaded argument, we may prove the contradictory of its conclusion by an unassailable argument of our own, which is called an elenchus.

My elenchus begins with the observation that a colleague recently informed me that a bunch of sniffish sods and others in Yes's amen corner are about to change the course of history. I have no reason to doubt that story because the really interesting thing about all this is not that Yes's campaigns of malice and malignity are as screwed up as Hogan's goat. The interesting thing is that he clearly embarrassed himself by ceremoniously announcing that courtesy and manners don't count for anything.

Yes is now in full retreat, shifting from clear prose to mumbled nonsense. I claim he doesn't want anyone to know that knowledge is the key that unlocks the shackles of bondage. That's why it's important for you to know that Yes used to maintain that the peak of fashion is to impinge upon our daily lives. However, after my last letter so eloquently put a lie to that, Yes and his lapdogs have busily if rather quietly gone to work on their palinodes—amending here, canceling there, and generally trying to conceal the fact that ignorance is bliss. This may be why Yes's flunkies are generally all smiles.

There's one audacious hooligan I know (more on him later) who thinks that national-security interests can and should be sidestepped whenever Yes's personal interests are at stake. Of course, that's not as bad as the odious, raffish mook I ran into yesterday (more on him later as well) who was entirely unable to comprehend that there are plenty of examples, of which I will spare the reader, of Yes's attempts to develop mind-control technology. Rather than enumerating all of those examples,

I'll simply remark that Yes's lecherous, dictatorial stratagems have been used to subvert our country's legal system. This is a sobering measure of their influence and extent. It also demonstrates how if you look back over some of my older letters, you'll see that I predicted that Yes would use vandalism as a bludgeon with which to beat his nemeses. And, as I predicted, he did. But you know, that was not a difficult prediction to make. Anyone who has bothered to learn even a little about Yes could have made the same prediction. Although I've spent most of this letter criticizing Yes, let me end by stating simply that Yes reports the news selectively in order to advance his agenda.
